Papers of David Lamelas, 1964-1997.

Collection of notes, plans, sketches, photographs, correspondence, drawings, exhibition announcements, sketchbooks and other papers produced by, or collected by, David Lamelas. The papers document the work of Lamelas from his earliest period, after completing his studies at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires and exhibiting at the Instituto Torcuato Di Tella in 1964, through to his projects in Europe and North America in the 1980s and late 1990s. Papers provide a portrait of Lamelas's artistic practice and the development of his work from sculpture to architecture, film, and conceptual installations.
